Regeneration - Bradford is currently experiencing phenomenal change, making it a hugely exciting place to live. £2 billion of government money is being invested into ‘The Masterplan’ - an extensive regeneration process which gives planners and developers a framework on how they can deliver consistent, high quality architecture - and at the same time ensures the protection of the city’s many fine historic buildings and streets.

Projects such as the £300m ‘Broadway Scheme’ and “New Victoria Place” (vast mixed-used commercial and retail complexes) will help re-shape the face of Bradford’s City Centre.

The aim of this regeneration scheme is to revitalise the city centre, keeping the best of the past, including historic features and the beautiful architecture of the old textile mills, as well as a sizeable investment program.

Why Bradford? Leeds may well be the ‘Knightsbridge of the North’ and Bradford its poor, badly behaved younger sibling, but maybe this young tearaway is finally finding its feet and getting its act together... and if so, why should it not succeed?
