Here at Smart Moves, we understand the importance of sourcing good quality accommodation at appropriate rates to all of our tenants. Whilst we acknowledge that there is much work to be done in improving the overall standard of student properties in the city, our work with the likes of Bradford College tells us that we are on the right path in satisfying those with slightly higher budgets and expectations.
Enjoying a good relationship with UNIPOL, our main aim is to provide a standard of property not catered for by halls of residence, privately owned blocks of ‘bedsits’ or more traditional property types on the outskirts – indeed, many of our tenants are students enjoying all the benefits of living in the city centre (in some cases, friends are sharing two-bedroom apartments and paying in the region of just £70 per person per week).
However, we do have a small number of student houses in our portfolio – here, we are working with landlords to maintain high standards of accommodation, paying particular attention to kitchens, bathrooms, heating and the overall décor.
